Wires is a registered charity that is not government funded.

It is run purely by volunteers for the conservation and preservation of australian native wildlife.

The Mid North Coast Branch covers from Halfway creek (North of Coffs Harbour), Eungai Creek (south of Macksville) and out as far as Ebor.
